The rare Expert Goldminer's Helmet is the one to want, and Digmaster Shovelphlange, a rare spawn, carries it on about 13% of kills. The rest sits in the 10–20 band beside it: 23 items in all.14 of them drop from creatures living only here; the other 9 are rewards the zone keeps to itself.
A hunter sits mid-table here, 23 items against the paladin's 34.The Alliance board here runs to 33 quests against the Horde's 0, so the two sides are not walking the same zone.By level 60 another 152 world drops can surface here, but they surface anywhere in Eastern Kingdoms and there is nothing to chase. That is enough to clear the zone out rather than pass through it.
