The zone runs 46–54 and holds 7 items worth a mage's time on top of it.Band of Icy Depths is the pick of the board, paid out by The Wrath of Neptulon at level 60.Level 50 lands somewhere in the middle of this band, and it is where a mage picks up Cone of Cold and Conjure Water.
A mage sits mid-table here, 7 items against the shaman's 13.Every Alliance mage starts on the other continent, so the trip costs a crossing before it costs a level.By level 60 another 100 world drops can surface here, but they surface anywhere in Kalimdor and there is nothing to chase.A mage outgrows the band before the list runs out, so fill the slots that are empty and go.
