The epic Doomhide Gauntlets is the one to want, and Lord Kazzak, an elite, carries it on about 10% of kills. The rest sits in the 46–54 band beside it: 11 items in all.9 of them drop from creatures living only here; the other 2 are rewards the zone keeps to itself.
No class takes more out of Blasted Lands than a shaman.Every Horde shaman starts on the other continent, so the trip costs a crossing before it costs a level.By level 60 another 406 world drops can surface here, but they surface anywhere in Eastern Kingdoms and there is nothing to chase.A shaman outgrows the band before the list runs out, so fill the slots that are empty and go.
