UpgradesThe Barrens
The Barrens is on a warrior's road for a reason that has nothing to do with loot: Path of Defense starts here at level 10, and pays in Defensive Stance, Sunder Armor (Rank 1), Taunt.

The zone runs 12–24 and holds 36 items worth a warrior's time on top of it.Marbled Buckler is the pick of the board, paid out by The Crone of the Kraul at level 34.Level 20 lands somewhere in the middle of this band, and it is where a warrior picks up Cleave and Dual Wield.
A warrior sits mid-table here, 36 items against the shaman's 55.3 dungeons open off the zone: Wailing Caverns at 10, Razorfen Kraul at 15 and Razorfen Downs at 25.The 32 items behind those doors are filed under the dungeon lens rather than on this page. The Horde board here runs to 77 quests against the Alliance's 18, so the two sides are not walking the same zone.By level 60 another 363 world drops can surface here, but they surface anywhere in Kalimdor and there is nothing to chase. That is enough to clear the zone out rather than pass through it.
